The idea for the UBIC thrift store was born out of a need to have more funds available for projects not included in our church budget. For instance, our work with Haitian churches is very important to our congregation and it seems the more we get involved with this mission outreach, the more money is needed to meet the specific needs that continually arise. 

We found a building that met our needs at 529 Ridgewood Avenue in Holly Hill.  We decided to name the store The Price Is Nice, and we had our official opening the last week of November 2002.  Dave and Gwen Hull manage the store, ably assisted by many volunteers.  We depend on donations to stock the store and always welcome good clean items for resale.
